Susan Elegba

USAID E3/Land

Susan Elegba serves as the E3/Land’s Program Officer. She manages the office budget and oversees the design and development of new activities, and supports the management for various aspects of monitoring and evaluation activities, including input required in developing the annual Operational Plans (OP), Portfolio Reviews, Performance Plan and Reports.

Educational Background

Ms. Elegba holds a master’s degree in International Development, with specialization in Democracy and Governance and Economics from American University’s School of International Science. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University (SUNY).

Regional Experience

Ms. Elegba has a passion for sub-Saharan Africa and is the A/COR for PRADD II which is implemented in Cote d’Ivoire, the Central African Republic, and previously Guinea.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining E3/Land, Ms. Elegba managed and supported programs within USAID’s Global Health Bureau, and also worked for the U.S. Department of State. Her academic and professional research at the Department of Economic Development and Tourism in South Africa includes best practices for Local Economic Development and Small Medium and Micro Enterprises.
